Time Regained
Stella collection
The ambition of the Square company is to imagine and design street furniture which enables city-dwellers and urban planners to master time thanks to quality equipment.
Creating Spaces and Time
As the pace of life is accelerating and urbanisation is imposing new lifestyles, Square offers the possibility to create time bubbles with its street furniture : spaces protected from the frantic and perpetual movement of the city, places where time can stop and make way for well-being, comfort and a new way of living together.
The pieces of furniture can be used together or separately. They are modular and multifunctional and cater for the needs of each user, respecting their individual time perception.
A Story Born in France
Production site in St Médard d'Eyrans @Fabre/deMarien architectes
For 30 years, Square has engaged its expertise in a dynamic process of adaptation to the needs of street furniture users.
From Dominique Chaigneau, the founder of the company, to Nicolas Patay, its current managing director, Square has a history of transferring values: quality, creativity, research and development.
With its industrial facilities situated in the heart of Bordeaux vineyard country, Square guarantees French production and environmentally friendly manufacturing.
In the course of time, Square products have been chosen for many urban planning projects in Europe (Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal) and North African countries.
A High-Performance Industrial Site
Quality guaranteed by zinc metallization and thermo-coating on all Square products
In December 2015, Square united its various production workshops to a single industrial site in St Médard d’Eyrans (33). The site contains a design office, steel and stainless steel metalworking workshop, wood carpentry and Ecoteck ™ workshop, surface treatment facility (metallization, thermo-lacquering, liquid painting), CERANOVA ™ pottery studio, assembly workshop, and packaging and dispatch area.
This project gave birth to the architectural design and construction of three industrial buildings in glued laminated timber, and wooden frame offices with a surface area of 3500m²
.
Thanks to these workshops and the strength of its design and design office, Square manages the entire production chain of its furniture to better meet the needs of the domestic and export market.
